Who says you can't have it all? The Lions Gate Inn is a stunning craftsman style Bed & Breakfast that captures classic elegance and modern magnificence under one historic roof.
Built in 1911 and formerly known as the Maggie Littlefield Historic Home, it was exquisitely restored to maintain its structural integrity while showcasing the local contemporary artistry of tile, woodworking and design.
The meticulous renovation preserved original elements of the house including fir wood floors, exposed ceiling beams and pocket doors, while dazzling light fixtures and leaded glass were blended with chic accents for a truly unique style. Environmentally friendly additions such as a large solar panel and tank-less water heaters were added to ensure energy efficiency.
SUITES: AUTUMN: Deep orange walls express warmth and depth, and a stunning double-sided tile fireplace connect the bathroom with its grand soaking tub. The king size bed and reading chair represent the season's red, green and amber walls.
WINTER: Platinum walls, extensive tile work and a cozy fireplace combine with maple furniture and a chrome king size bed to convey the enchantment of this season. The private bath includes a winter branch chandelier, a claw foot tub and glass-enclosed rain shower.
SPRING: Cheerful green walls and colorful chairs complement crisp white woodwork and a king size bed with hand-braided seagrass. Floral artwork, period light fixtures and traditional octagon tiles highlight the fireplace and bathroom's soaking tub and shower.
SUMMER: Amber walls and a leaded glass window in the double -headed shower give this room a warm glow, in contrast to the queen size bed blanketed in pale blue. Sleek black wood furniture, a granite countertop and black glass vessel sink add sophistication and charm.
